Designed by the Guangzhou Chateau Star River Hotels & Resorts, the Chateau Club is an exclusive membership rewards program for loyal customers of our hotels. Upon participating and enrolling in the program, club members are entitled to more privileged benefits and the most preferable rates at their every stay. Favourable rewards points will be accumulated and can be redeemed for plentiful benefits including free accommodations.
Consumption Points: refers to the Chateau Club points correspondingly earned by a member as rewards upon successful settlement of charges for their qualifying consumption in a hotel (For specified points items, see “Rules of Earning Points”); hereafter referred as “points”in this program.
Active Member: refers to a member who makes any qualifying consumption in a hotel or gets any points renewed within 24 consecutive months.
Natural Year of Membership: regarding “Natural Year”and “Natural Year of Membership”in this program, the first year refers to the period starting from the date of successfully registering, upgrading, downgrading or renewing as the current membership status and December 31 of the year. From the second year and onward, a natural year is from January 1 to December 31 of that year.
Qualifying Rates: refers to the room rates published on hotel official websites/WeChat official accounts or eligible channels for reservation, including front office rack rates, front office best available rates, special package rates, member rates, negotiated FIT rates, corporate contract rates and Service Center FIT rates. Our hotels retain the rights for any complete and final decision on the qualifying rates.
Non-qualifying Rates: refers to all rates other than qualifying rates, including, without limitation, rooms reserved through any third-party booking channel or travel agency, any free room, complimentary room, points redemption room, long-staying room, barter room, day use room, house use room, owner corporate rate, owner executive approval rate, peer rate, crew rate, party and tour group rate, government rate and wholesale rate.
Qualifying Miscellaneous Charges: refers to the charges that are eligible to put into a member’s room folio for the consumption of food and beverage, laundry service, mini bar item, car rental, health club facility and other hotel supplies.
Qualifying Booking Channels: refers to the official booking channels of the Chateau Star River Hotels such as official websites, WeChat official accounts, service center hot-lines and direct booking channels of hotels. Unless it is specially approved by a Chateau Star River Hotel, any third-party booking platform, service supplier or travel agent such as ctrip.com, fliggy.com, expedia.com and booking.com will not be regarded as qualifying booking channels.
Qualifying Consumption: refers to the expenses for room reservation through qualifying booking channels with qualifying rates, purchase of goods at a Chateau Star River Hotel shopping mall, or expenditure at any business outlet self-operated by the Chateau Star River Hotel.
Redeem Rewards: refers to the complimentary room nights, room upgrading, food & beverage, health club facility or other incentive coupon of goods that a member redeems with points at the hotel shopping mall.
Accumulated points in a member’s account will expire if they are not redeemed within 24 consecutive months commencing from the date of generating, and the system will clear such points automatically from the membership account.
Points redeemed for room nights with immediate cancellation will be returned to the member’s account, and expired date will be determined by the original date of expiration.
2.The applicant is not yet a member of the Chateau Club and has not opened a membership account, and his/her membership has not been terminated by the Club.
3.Valid and accurate personal information has been provided upon enrollment.
Upon successful registration, each applicant will get an individual membership account and membership number as well as the qualification for earning points in the Chateau Club.
No annual fees are required for members and registered memberships are valid for long term.
Elite Card: Assigned upon registration.
Gold Card: Assigned upon staying for up to 15 room nights within a natural year, or earning up to 15,000 points with qualifying consumption, or recharging RMB¥18,000 at one time.
Platinum Card: Assigned upon staying for up to 30 room nights within a natural year, or earning up to 30,000 points with qualifying consumption, or recharging RMB¥35,000.
Diamond Card: Assigned upon staying for up to 80 room nights within a natural year, or earning points up to 80,000.
Note: Registering with a ownership card of the Chateau Star River Property or other valid certification documents (e.g., purchasing invoice of property or certificate of property ownership),the member will be assigned to lifetime Diamond Card membership and is entitled to the benefits of Diamond Card at the highest membership level.
Except for Diamond Card, membership of other levels will be upgraded if stayed room nights or consumption points accumulated within a natural year are reaching the required numbers for a higher level. Newly upgraded membership level will be retained till the end of next natural year. 2. Grade Maintaining
Except for Diamond Card, membership of other levels will be maintained the same if stayed room nights or consumption points accumulated within a natural year are merely reaching the required numbers for the current level. The same level be retained till the end of next natural year. 3. Downgrading
Except for Elite or Diamond Cards, membership of other levels will be downgraded if stayed room nights or consumption points accumulated within a natural year fail in reaching the required numbers for the current level. From January 1 of next year, membership will be downgraded to a corresponding level with room nights or consumption points. Elite card will be assigned as the lowest level.
4、 Lifetime Membership of Diamond Card
Members reaching the requirement of Diamond Card level will automatically obtain the lifetime membership of Diamond Card and the level will not change any more.

2. Exclusive preferred room rate through Hotel official booking channels.
3. Exclusive discount for consumption at Hotel self-operated restaurants or health club (based on the rack rates published at self-operated restaurants/health club on that day of consumption).
4. Rich points rewards upon consumption at Hotel rooms/self-operated restaurants/health clubs.
5. Group-buying prices for alcoholic goods exclusively offered by the Chateau Star River Wine Company.
6. Priority to participate in recreational activities organized by the Chateau Club within the exclusive properties of the Chateau Star River Group.
7. Priority to participate in hot-topic lectures and social activities organized by the Chateau Star River Group.
8. Membership benefits and rights are subject to the availability of Hotels and upon certain qualification requirements. When making consumption with rates or discounts qualified for rewards standards through official channels of the Chateau Star River Hotels (i.e., official websites, WeChat official accounts and physical hotels), a member is entitled to the following benefits. Reservation or purchase consumption through any third-party is not applicable at the same time to the benefits and rights stated herewith.

2. Exclusive Benefits for Diamond Card
(1)Health Club Benefits:
1) 50% discount for consumption of health club items except below stated hours.
2) Tennis court: 50% discount on rack rates for consumption before 14:00 daily from Monday to Friday and 20% discount on holidays and other else period.
3) Badminton court:50% discount on rack rates for consumption before 14:00 daily from Monday to Friday and 40% discount on holidays and other else period.

1) Complimentary buffet diner for birthday member.
2) Complimentary birthday cake for consumption of buffets, lunch or dinner at VIP rooms of Chinese restaurants(Upon prior reservation and dining in restaurant only).
3) One portion of longevity noodles for dining in Chinese restaurants.
4) 25% discount for Hotel birthday cake order.
5) Daily special dessert for kids who dine with birthday member.
Rooms: 1 point for every consumption of RMB¥1.
Food & Beverage: 1 point for every consumption of RMB¥5.
Health club Facilities: 1 point for every consumption of RMB¥5.
Private Banquets: 1 point for every consumption of RMB¥20 and maximum of 20,000 points accumulated for bills at one time. Private banquets herewith refer to wedding event, birthday event, birthday party, celebration event for baby’s first month of birth and celebration event for baby’s one-hundred days of birth etc.
2. To earn points for rooms, one of the rooms must be booked and checked in as a member, and all room charges must be paid by the member. Payment arrangement should be declared by the member upon check-in at a Hotel.
3. Basic unit of points is an integer 1, and the point will be rounded up to the nearest integer value if less than 1.
4. Points will be counted into a member’s account if the consumption is made for companions and paid by the member.
5. Points are doubled on member’s birthday for any qualifying consumption.
6. Expenses unqualified for earning points :
(1) Reservation through any third-party booking channel or travel agency, rooms for free-of-charge, complimentary, points redemption, long-staying, barter, day use, house use, or rates of owner corporate, owner executive approval, peers, crew, conference party, government, wholesale are not qualified for points. Special points policy will be implemented if it is designed for a specially cooperated channel.
(2) Room charges unpaid by a member yet.
(3) Consumption for a member’s participation in meeting, group conference, associate banquet.
(4) Cancellation charge for guarantee reservation.
(5) Any recharge, deposit, tips, compensation fee, overdue fine and collection or payment made by a Hotel for other external expenses.
(6) Consumption of commodity and service that a member redeems with points.
(7) Consumption paid by a member with gift voucher, gift card, value voucher or redemption voucher.
(8) Unless otherwise specified, consumption of non-hotel-operated entertainment centers, SPAs and outsourced services, etc.
(9) Hotel service surcharge and government taxes and charges.
At any time, a member can log in official website of the Chateau Star River Hotel at www.chateaustarriver.com or on-line mall of WeChat official account CSR-hotels to redeem points to obtain goods of hotels and hotel-partners. goods for redemption might be changed from time to time and specification will be subject to the official website/WeChat official account of the Chateau Star River Hotel.
No invoice for goods redeemed with points will be issued by a Hotel.
2. Rooms for points redemption are not inclusive of breakfast (except for specified packages) and are subject to the availability of staying hotels.
3. Points of the Chateau Club may not be sold, exchanged or transferred. Any transfer, sale or exchange of points performed by or on behalf of a member will be void. Points believed to have been transferred, sold or exchanged will be rejected by the Chateau Club.
4. Points of the Chateau Club do not bear any cash value and the Chateau Club will not pay any cash or compensation to members for any points cleared, cancelled or unused.
5. Awarded rooms and e-voucher redeemed with points are not to be reissued upon lost, theft or damage.
6. Room types of basic and higher-level are adjustable in accordance with the specific room types of a Hotel. Room types redeemable with points are defined and provided by the Hotel.
7. In the case of reservations that do not allow cancellation and modification, members cannot refund points when applying for amendments or cancellations.mo
In case of reservations are not allowed to be cancelled or modified, points redeemed will not be refunded when a member applies for modification or cancellation.
8. Unless specified in corresponding rules of points redemption for awarded rooms and e-vouchers of offer, awarded rooms redeemed can not be applied in conjunction with other awards, gift vouchers of upgrade, partner rewards, discount vouchers or benefits, rewarded trips, e-vouchers of offer, checks or any other special offers. However, a member can redeem multiple points for consecutive stays.
9. The Chateau Club points will be credited base on the amount excluding service surcharge and taxes within 7 days after the qualifying consumption is paid by a member. In case of that points are not credited correctly within this period of time, a member can apply for record replacement by emailing the payment record to the hotel membership office at csrclub@star-river.com within 60 days upon check-out. Consumption points will not be eligible for record replacement if the payments for food & beverage, health club facilities and banquets are not included in the rooms bill.
2. A personal password should be set when a member activates his/her personal account on the official websites/WeChat official account of the Chateau Club and should ensure the password is not leaked to anyone. The Chateau Club bears no responsibility for any loss caused by the leakage of personal password or malicious theft-use of password (including any bonus points redeemed with a theft-use of member’s name, etc.).
3. The Chateau Club will collect and process members' personal data at the locations of hotels and offices where they own, operate or manage to evaluate and process membership applications; confirm and verify membership; process goods and services purchased by members; process or confirm members’ service requests; complete online services, mobile communication services and other services required by members; respond to members' inquiries; and operate the program, including checking points, delivering related offers, services, ongoing market research, project development and relevant news information to members; for market promotion and customer management purposes, such as delivering the latest offers and promotional activities of the Chateau Club to members; for reference purposes and records of membership of the program; announcement of winner lists for activities held by the Chateau Club or its representatives. Member data might be provided to participating hotels and selected partners of the program by the Chateau Club, so that relevant companies and institutions can handle the above mentioned work or provide services for members from time to time. Non-identified data of members will be used from time to time to design or improve goods and services more suitable for members.The Chateau Club may also disclose such data to selected third parties in a way of collective statistics which will not be able to identify the individual identity of members.
4. As one of the technologies applied by website servers to communicate with users’ browsers, cookies are the data elements related to computer users and might automatically store certain information in user’s computer for the purpose of identifying the web pages that members are most interested in and for members’ searching in future, so that better browse services would be provided on the official websites/WeChat official accounts by the Chateau Club. Most browsers have cookies enabled by default, but members can cancel or restrict this function by adjusting the setting of browsers by themselves. Cookies will collect anonymous collective statistics without personal contact information such as names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses, etc.. The website might collect IP addresses of members to provide assistance for solving problems and making analysis, and might also collect related information browsed by members on the websites. The collection of such information is for internal study use only on the websites to enhance the services of the Chateau Club and has no direct connection with personal information of members.
2. The Chateau Club takes a commitment to ensure the timely updates of information on official websites/WeChat official accounts, meanwhile retains the rights to change, limit, modify or cancel the rules, rewards and program levels with or without prior notice even though the changes might have impacts on the value of points and goods of the Chateau Club, including:
(1) Increase or reduce the earning points for stayed room nights or required points for redeemed room nights.
(2) Withdraw, limit, modify or cancel any rewards;
(3) Set blackout date to limit availability of rewarded rooms in any participating hotels of this program, or to limit the consecutive availability of this program.
(4) Change program benefits, partners, service location of the Chateau Club or partners, enrollment conditions, rules of earning, redeeming, retaining or confiscating points or goods, or management regulations applied for this program.
(5) Change or cancel rewards from partners. During the accumulating period of the Chateau Club points by a member, rewards supplies for any levels, categories or tiers might be terminated due to limited quantities, or the redemption conditions might have changes.
3. The Chateau Club has the right to terminate this program upon 6 months prior notice to members on official channels of the Chateau Star River Hotels and might replace this membership program with similar ones upon immediate notice to members. After the termination of this program, members will not be able to continue the accumulation of Chateau Club points or claim for rewards or entitled benefits. In case this program is terminated, all unredeemed Chateau Club points will be forfeited and the Chateau Club is not assumed to bear any obligation or liability. After the notification period ends, no rewards claim will be approved. Upon the termination of this program, members’ rights for earning points, entitled offers and rewarded projects will be suspended.
4. The Chateau Club has the right to refuse applicants who do not meet the application eligibility without giving reasons.
5. Membership of a member will remain permanent unless the member requests a cancellation of membership account and submit a cancellation application, or under other circumstances which a membership should be terminated in accordance with this clause. When requesting a cancellation of membership, all unredeemed Club points will be forfeited and can not be regained.
6. Chateau Club points and membership do not constitute property of a member but are managed and possessed by the Chateau Star River Hotels & Resorts. Under the following circumstances, the Chateau Club might immediately limit or terminate the membership of a member, or declare all the unredeemed points accumulated by the member invalid, without any notice:
(1) Violation of this clause or any other additional applicable terms;
(2) False statement contained in registration information.
(3) Suspected or found to be abusing or fraudulent, or participating in any actions making influence on the accumulation, use or loss of points, rewards or membership benefits through forgery, inappropriate or deceptive means (including, without limitation, use of any “online robot”, Macros or other automated means of participating in the program);
(4) Violation of laws or regulations of any country or region.
(5) In arrears of expenses for real estate, property and hotel under the Chateau Star River Group.
(6) Holding more than one membership accounts maliciously in the same Chateau Club rewards program by a single member.
(7) Conducting behaviors that are detrimental to hotel staff, other members, or any third party (including but not limited to: abusive, harassing, intimidating, derogatory, rude, indecent, obscene, offensive or otherwise inappropriate ways, determined by a Hotel).
(8) Interfering with other guests or disrupting or damaging the normal operations of any hotel or partner
7. The Chateau Club makes no warranty or statement, express or implied, with respect to the type, quality or appropriateness of the goods or services provided through this program, and expressly disclaims any liability (including consequential damages) related thereto.
8. The Chateau Club is not assumed to bear any responsibility under the following situations: (1) any loss, clerical error or delay in receiving of membership application, letter, rewards or reward vouchers;(2)points or rewards theft, unauthorized redemption or unauthorized use of rewards caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control of the Chateau Club;(3)any action or negligence of a third party, including a Hotel;(4)any published mistakes related to this program, included but not limited to: any pricing, printing or explaining mistakes; mistakes related to hotels, mistakes of points accumulation to membership accounts or mistakes of points deduction from membership accounts. The Chateau Club reserves the right to correct any error without notice.
9. Only the Chateau Star River Hotels & Resorts has the final interpretation right of the terms and conditions of this plan, and can unilaterally decide to waive compliance with these terms and conditions, and conduct promotional activities at any time in order to provide selected members with more offers.
10. The Chateau Club bears no responsibility for any claim disputes caused by the failure to withdraw or redeem rewards, benefits or points in this program due to the following reasons: unresistable force factors; any legal action, regulation, decree or requirement implemented by any government or prospective government; equipment failure; actual or pending terrorist acts; weather factors; natural phenomenon; war (declared or not declared); conflagration; embargo; labour dispute or strike; labor or material shortage; any type of traffic disruption; civil strife; riot; any law, rule, regulation, decree or other action adopted or enforced by any country/region or local government department; or for any other reasons (no matter explicitly stated above or not)
11. This clause constitutes a complete and sole agreement regarding this program between a member and the Chateau Star River Hotels & Resorts. And this clause replaces all previous or existing electronic, verbal or written communication, agreement, advertisement and proposal regarding this program or other versions of Chateau Club Rewards Program provided by the Chateau Star River Hotels & Resorts. Members and the Chateau Star River Hotels & Resorts both agree that neither party has been induced to sign this clause under any statement or commitment not specifically stated in this clause.
Terms and conditions of this program are applicable to participating members, Chateau Star River Hotels and partners.
